Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali & Urban Life

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) you will be picked up and welcomed by Wantya Africa Expeditions driver guide and transfer to your hotel and check-in. After lunch you begin your explore with a visit to the Nairobi National Museum, providing a comprehensive overview of Kenya's history, culture, and natural heritage, explore the city center, including iconic landmarks like the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC),visit the bustling City Market for local crafts and souvenirs and in the evening enjoy a dinner at a local restaurant, experiencing Kenyan cuisine.

Day 2: Wildlife and Community Engagement

After your early morning hearty breakfast, you will transfer to Nairobi National Park, a unique wildlife sanctuary located within the city limits. Enjoy a game drive, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, and other animals after you will visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, an elephant orphanage, to witness the heartwarming work of rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned elephants. And in the afternoon after lunch, visit the Giraffe Centre, where you can hand-feed endangered Rothschild's giraffes. In the evening enjoy dinner at a restaurant featuring live Kenyan music.

Day 3: Cultural Immersion & Historical Sites

After your early morning hearty breakfast, you will visit Bomas of Kenya, experiencing traditional Kenyan villages and cultural performances, in the afternoon you will visit the Karen Blixen Museum and visit the Railway Museum. In the evening you will attend traditional Kenyan storytelling session or cultural performance.

Day 4: Market Exploration & Local Crafts

You will explore the Maasai Market (if available on that day) or another local crafts market and learn about traditional Kenyan crafts, its significance and interact with artisans. In the afternoon: participate in a hands-on workshop, such as beadwork or basket weaving and visit a local art gallery, to view modern Kenyan art ( The Art Space Kenya).In the evening enjoy a farewell dinner at a rooftop restaurant, with views of the city.

Day 5: Departure

After your breakfast transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) for your departure.
