Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali.
You will be picked up by your diver guide on your arrival at Kigali International Airport (KGL) and then transfer to your hotel, rest and have lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon you will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial and also explore the modern city of Kigali.

Day 2: Kimironko Market & Urban Community Life
After breakfast, you will head out and explore Kimironko Market, this is the largest and busiest markets in Kigali, Rwanda, offering a vibrant and authentic shopping experience. In the afternoon have lunch at local and continental restaurant after, visit the Presidential Palace Museum this was once the official residence of President Juvénal Habyarimana, who ruled Rwanda from 1973 until his assassination in 1994. This site is significant in Rwandan history as it played a crucial role in the events leading up to the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi. In the evening you can opt to explore the Inema Arts Centre or experience Kigali's nightlife.

Day 3: Transfer to Rural Community & Homestay
After breakfast, you will head out to a local community near Musanze called the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village (Gorilla Guardians Village) when your there, you will learn about Rwandan traditional life, including dances, songs, and drumming, participate in traditional ceremonies, such as a mock king's coronation, food preparation, banana beer brewing, and herbal medicine practices in the afternoon settle into your homestay with a local family and participate in introductory activities, such as helping with simple household chores or learning basic Kinyarwanda phrases.

Day 4: Community Project & Traditional Crafts
After a hearty local breakfast, you will head out and participate in a community project, such as assisting with agricultural work or helping with a local initiative. In the afternoon after lunch learn about traditional Rwandan crafts and participate in a hands-on workshop (e.g., basket weaving or pottery). Later in the evening enjoy a cultural performance by community members, including traditional music and dance.

Day 5: Agricultural Experience & Local School Visit
After a hearty local breakfast you will visit Kinigi Community and learn about Rwandan agriculture through a visit to a local farm or cooperative. Have lunch and later in the afternoon visit a local school Kinigi Primary School, you will interact with students, share stories about you country, help students practice English through simple conversations or storytelling, engage in drawing, painting, or simple craft-making with the children ,participate in singing or dancing with students, learning local Rwandan songs and teaching international ones among others.

Day 6: Transfer to Butare & Ethnographic Exploration
Early morning after breakfast, you will transfer to Butare .You will visit the Ethnographic Museum (National Museum of Rwanda)The museum house has an extensive collection of artifacts, including traditional clothing, musical instruments, and household items that showcase the daily lives of Rwandans before modernization. You will learn about Rwanda’s pre-colonial, colonial, and post-colonial history through well-organized exhibitions, you can also watch or even participate in Intore warrior dances performed by skilled local dancers.

Day 7: Return to Kigali & Departure
Return to Kigali and transfer to the airport, depending on the time of your flight you can visit the women crafts center for some souvniers
